BBC Announces Hamas-Controlled Health Ministry As Their New Middle East Branch
LONDON – In an effort at cost-cutting and streamlining, the BBC has appointed the Hamas-Controlled Health Ministry to do all of their reporting in the Gaza Strip directly.
“The costs and effort related to fact-checking and reporting on the situation have unfortunately become too great. And it’s not as if we were publishing anything other than exactly what they told us anyway. Bit redundant innit?” Said BBC spokesman Clive Clivingham. “We’re really just cutting out the middleman”
Still to be determined is what will become of all the cameras and equipment left behind. Their new owners are reportedly investigating how aerodynamic they are when launched in the air for some reason.
