AP And PA Partnering On New “Pay-For-Slay” Photography Program
RAMALLAH – Putting down your weapon to take photos in the middle of a terrorist infiltration is nerve-wracking at the best of times – so to make sure that multitasking terrorist/journalists and their complicit compatriots have some skin in the game, the Associated Press and the Palestinian Authority have partnered on a new “Pay-For-Slay” program, just for photographers.
Details of the program are still being ironed out, but hopes are that the program will add to Hamas and affiliates’ growing pedigree as a photojournalism powerhouse. Rates start at $1,000 for general terror shots, going all the way up to $100K (and a bespoke explosive vest) for those winning Photo Of The Year.
Upon hearing the news, IDF commanders wanted to add their support to the initiative, generously offering an additional prize of 72 Virgins to anyone participating.
As of publication time it was unclear whether additional documentation of these atrocities by the perpetrators themselves would lead to the general public actually believing they happened. Initial signs point to to “no”.
